ABOUT KATHERINE
Katherine grew up in Grand Rapids and received her first camera as a gift from her dad at age 20. She went on to study photography in Southern California, where she made a living doing editorial and magazine work. When her son, Austin, was born in 1998, Katherine found a new subject to shoot. She started taking pictures of her children and her friend’s children; she’s been happily taking pictures of other people’s children for a few years now, and still loves looking through the lens. Katherine lives in Grand Rapids with her husband, her son, and her daughter.
